SERIES: Taking Care of YOU! It’s All About Your Perspective

A view of the sky from above, taken in mid-air.

Do you see an animal image in one of the clouds in this photo?  If so, what do you think it looks like?  Whatever perception you might have of the image, there is a tendency to believe. Like the perception of this photo, your perspective matters in the subjective experience of social relationships. Two perspectives can be opposite yet valid in different ways, much like views from opposite sides of the room you may be in at this moment.  The same event, comment, decision, or photo can mean something very different to each of us. While taking care of YOU adopt positive habits in your perspective-taking.  Exercise detachment (i.e., step back, see the larger picture) to maintain objectivity in evaluating other’s perspectives. It’s all about your perspective vs. others.
